无用之用  

乌镇北栅粮仓项目双曲线桥 

从功能上讲，双曲线桥将原本断头的室外路径连成一个环路，但这并不是它存在的必要条件。它或许更像一个“无用之物”，不期而遇间在精神、情感上触动我们。一方面，水乡乌镇的河道上有许多石拱桥，飞越粮仓的这座桥是在呼应自身所在的地域；另一方面，钢桁架双曲线桥也为沉稳的粮仓带来运动感和活力，亦如当年粮仓里输送粮食的移动式传输机；而更吸引我们的是，桥提供了一个意外的鸟瞰视点，面对粮仓、乌镇、农田与自然，体认正在发生或消失在乌镇的脉动与气息。

the Useless Use

Hyperbola Bridge of Granaries in North Zone of Wuzhen

Speaking of the function of the hyperbola bridge, it connects the outside paths of the site into a loop, otherwise disconneted. Yet, this is not a necessary reason to be. It feels more like a "useless object", touches and moves us out of blue, emotionally, spiritually. On the one hand, it dialogues with traditional stone bridges in Wuzhen (a water town). On the other hand, the steel truss of the hyperbola bridge brings movements and dynamism into the calm and steady granaries, exactly like the mobile conveyer once used in the granaries. But above all, it provides a totally surprising bird's-eye view over the granaries, over Wuzhen, over farmlands and nature. It enables us to contemplate and actually feel the ups and downs, the pulses and breaths of the place, of Wuzhen.

三角形空间桁架双曲线拱桥  | Hyperbola Bridge of Triangular Space Truss Arch

桥的结构形式采用空间钢管桁架拱+预应力拉索组合结构，结构轻巧舒展，以一种真实、优雅、与建筑需求融合的形式呈现，其新意在于：
1.利用踏步、扶手之间的高差设置桁架结构对于27米左右跨度的钢桁架桥，结构在大跨方向的结构高度需求，与建筑踏步至扶手的建筑高度要求基本一致，将二者整合在一起，大大降低了桥的总体高度。
2.而采用横截面为三角形的空间桁架，桁架上弦杆可被其出平面外的腹杆充分约束，这样上弦杆、下弦杆和腹杆均能以较小的截面得到较高的安全度，从而使结构呈现透空、轻巧的效果。同时，三角形空间桁架也使得桥在跨度方向作为格构式受压构件获得了足够的结构纵向刚度，为施加预应力拉索提供了必要的结构强度和刚度。
